My only reason for buying a Vespa was because of its Italian lineage, Vespa Piaggio Christmas tree sweatshirt the Vespa badge and that it is considered exotic (check out the number of Vespas on road vs any other Scooterette). Vespa offers you service for 2 years, with alternating ‘free’ and ‘paid’ service. This is the absolute BS, I paid EVERY single time I took my Vespa for servicing – for one reason or other. (I am proud to say that I ride my scooter with utmost care and precaution, it’s still in mint condition after 10K+ Km). On top of that, the service center NEVER ever followed the checklist in the manual for service trips! I read reviews of the scooter and everyone had warned me that the bite on the rear brake is almost zero!
