Every DC/Warner movie seem to be influenced by SkekTek’s 100% Organic Gelfling Essence shirt Frank Miller’s The Dark Knight Returns, but they don’t seem to really understand that story, you can’t just simply copy some elements of a perfect story and hope it will be a great movie. I honestly don’t see the hype. It looks more like a drama than a Joker movie. Even as a standalone. Just not seeing it. Looks alright but it’s not connected to anything so no matter how much I like him I’ll never get to see him go up against my favorite Batman… Or any Batman probably. The cinematography looks great and I get that they’re paying homage to The King Of Comedy & Taxi Driver but something about this seems off and makes me not care to see it.
