Scentsy, in particular, is an interesting company. It’s a good company to work for, and the history is actually really interesting. However, like all MLM companies, you have to put lots of $$ into it to see the reward, and work very hard. The number one reason I have encountered as a Scentsy consultant who has addressed this problem several hundred times is that the consumer is using a bulb of incorrect wattage. For example, the night light warmers use a 15-watt bulb which looks exactly like a standard night light bulb of 4 or 7 watts, which doesn’t get hot enough to melt the wax.
