Gems are the premium currency in Rising of Kingdoms, Rises of Kingdoms shirt so basically, if you want a ton of them you’ll probably have to purchase them with real money. However the game is very generous with free gems, and you can really do quite well in the game without spending a dime… Or penny. Songhai Empire’s backbone was the Niger river and trade in west Africa was going along this riverbank. So, I guess, willingness to control trade in west Africa made Songhai people be independent of Mali and once they did conquer Timbuktu, they became stronger and went on capturing cities after cities along the Niger river and eventually became a large empire concentrated on Niger river. Bit of a strange question.
