Saw him at his first Spring Training in Florida last year. He has come such a long way. Great job Devers. Great job catching by Chavis, his catch over the dugout the night before was amazing as well as his Grand slam last night! Great job. Devers is one of the best 3rd basemen I’ve seen in a while! Nice arm! Reminds me of Pedroia in his reaction time. I remember the “old days” when Butch Hobson played 3rd. He’d make some great plays diving into the opponents’ dugout to make catches.
