If we were to have cats and by necessity, they would shed, they needed to be black. It started that simply. A few superstitious congregants thought it unnatural for a pastor to have black cats. I would explain why and leave them to work it through their superstitious minds. Personally, I think black cats are beautiful. Mini panthers. Large green or cheddar cheese eyes against a sleek black body. I find them to be loving and protective, playful and affectionate. I find them to be highly intelligent. Are there any drawbacks to black cat ownership?
