All these previous answers are just straight-up Bear nope not today shirt wrong in SO many aspects. First of all, there are several subspecies of brown bears just like tigers. Just like how there is a difference between a Sumatran tiger and a Siberian tiger, there is a difference between the subspecies Kodiak bear and Eurasian brown bear. If a polar bear is stronger and would defeat a Kodiak grizzly bear than why are there so many prizzly and hybrids. From my views, it seems the polar bear is, in fact, less aggressive than a grizzly and there have been confrontations noted where grizzly’s scare off or kill mother polar bears to give room for their cub’s den. Just because polar bears are larger doesn’t mean they are stronger.
